The newly constructed residential building is planned to be located in the central part of the plot and the function of the utility building is integrated into the main volume of the newly constructed residential building. Thus, more convenient exploitation of the plot of land is ensured, as well as a maximally sunlit and wide courtyard of the territory, while at the same time preserving the maximum number of trees.

The architecture of the building is designed as a one-piece building form, where the mutual spatial geometry of the volumes is the main entity of the building. This was achieved by providing a uniform facade finish material – wooden boards in all facades and introducing a geometrically expressive roof shape for the volume of children’s bedrooms. For this volume, the roof ridge is made diagonally, correspondingly, the eaves in the corners of the building have variable height marks, forming inclined eaves on the eastern and western facades. Such a solution creates a building volume that accentuates the main entrance of the building, creating a changing shape of the building for the human perspective when looking at the building from different points of view, as well as creating a feeling of a building composition with a gable roof.

There are 3 children’s bedrooms closer to Miera Street in the cross-section, but in the long volume along the northern border of the land there are utility rooms, living quarters for the family, the master bedroom with a bathroom and a study.

The orientation of the building volumes against the cardinal direction and the slopes of the roof planes have been designed by evaluating the principles of solar energy use, anticipating the possibility of placing solar panels on the roof of the main building volume (the roof part of the main volume oriented in the west-east direction, in the area behind the transverse volume, as seen from Miera Street) in the future.
