In order to improve the availability of green outdoor space and create a pleasant environment for the community, in the framework of the 1st phase of the project, not only the shores of the ponds were improved, but also the basketball court was renovated, an exercise field was created and pedestrian paths were restored – all in a previously degraded area.

The quiet zone of the park, a two-level wooden boardwalk and platform, is built on the well-maintained shore of the ponds, in the depth of the park, hidden behind trees and terrain. Coastal constructions are connected by newly built terrace-type stairs along the changing terrain. A bench has been created on the platform along its entire length and the concrete retaining wall functions as a backrest. The lower platform allows you to cool your feet on hot summer days, but in winter it is easy to put on skates and step on the ice.

In phase 2, the pond boardwalk will be extended, covering the ponds along their shores, giving the opportunity to walk around them. The boardwalks will be improved with benches and trash containers, generally giving visitors the opportunity to linger on the shores of the park’s ponds.
